This October, Vitech welcomed clients to Future-Proofing Benefits: Vitech Client Summit 2024, a two-and-a-half-day gathering that brought together the Pension Client Advisory Board (CAB) and User Group sessions. The Summit featured vibrant discussions on the future of Vitech’s retirement solutions, with engaging breakout sessions, thought-provoking Q&As, and valuable networking opportunities.
Clients shared insights on Vitech’s product roadmap, the unique challenges of today’s pension landscape, and the ROI benefits of moving to Vitech’s V3locity platform—conversations that are helping to shape Vitech’s direction for the years ahead.
Held in partnership with Amazon Web Services at their iconic 5th Avenue location in Manhattan, the event underscored Vitech’s commitment to future-proofing clients’ pension systems with next-generation technology. Attendees had the chance to connect directly with Vitech leadership and product experts while building relationships with peers across the industry.
The event kicked off on Day 1 with a lively reception at Dear Irving on Hudson. Guests enjoyed cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and, perhaps best of all, breathtaking views from the 40th floor—though the potato croquettes and BBQ chicken empanadas were also fan favorites.
Day 2 opened with an insightful “State of Vitech” address from CEO David Burns, where he highlighted Vitech’s ongoing dedication to R&D, innovation, and evolving product strategies.
One of the day’s highlights was hearing a client’s first-hand experience of migrating their pension fund to V3locity. Their account of the fund’s transition, which serves around 145,000 vested pension members, underscored the benefits of V3locity, from improved member experiences to reduced staffing needs and cost savings by eliminating the need for outside vendor contracts.
Day 2 also featured separate sessions for Vitech’s Client Advisory Board (CAB) and User Group. In the CAB meeting, clients actively discussed the product roadmap and the complex challenges of meeting member needs and security requirements, with many expressing a desire for deeper involvement in Vitech’s solution-building process.
In the User Group sessions on Day 2 and Day 3, AI and cybersecurity were the focal points. Conversations about AI-driven chatbots addressed effectiveness and the need for customization, while cybersecurity discussions emphasized data protection and transparency, a topic Vitech’s CIO, Robert Hopps, recently explored in a Cybersecurity Awareness Month blog post.
A huge thank you to our clients, partners, and Vitech team members for making this Summit an inspiring success! Special appreciation goes to our facilitators Keith Brainard and Tom DeRoche, for helping us drive forward toward a resilient future in benefits.
