Don Rizzo

Don is a Vice President within the Americas Global Technology and Operations division at MetLife Insurance Company. Don’ s role focuses on the creation of the Technology Roadmap for his internal business partners, including the Corporate Benefit Funding division, and the successful realization of that vision incrementally through the various strategic and tactical initiatives. Don is a member of the MetLife management team that has coordinated the successful go-lives of 8 consecutive quarters in a row of V3 implementations into production.

Aravindan Sridharan

Aravindan is a Senior Financial Officer at the World Bank Group where he has successfully implemented innovative solutions for the Bank’s trust fund administration (integrated with loan accounting and operation) process and financial accounting and reporting. He is also highly experienced in managing large scale back office accounting processes. Aravindan’s areas of expertise include, project design and management, financial accounting and reporting, process integration and modernization, and system design and implementation, including the implementation of V3.

Greg Taylor

Greg is the Chief Information Officer of the State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio (STRS Ohio) where he oversees all aspects of technology for one of the nation’s largest public retirement and benefit funds. During his over 20 year career with STRS Ohio, Greg has been responsible for dozens of large scale projects, including the successful implementation of V3 and more recently, the upgrade of V3 to version 10.

Tom Scales

Celent

Tom is a Research Director of Celent’s Americas Life and Health Insurance practice. His research and consulting focuses on industry innovation, operational best practices and vendor technology. His particular passion is on how to best leverage technology to ensure the best customer and agent experience. He also leads a broad range of consulting projects, such as Deep Dive strategies for both insurers and vendors, and a variety of system selection projects.

Colleen Risk

Colleen Risk is a Senior Analyst in Celent’s Insurance practice where she focuses on life insurance business architecture, new business acquisition and underwriting, and large transformation program change management. Colleen has diverse consulting experience including building and managing a business process outsourcing operation for a top reinsurer, commercializing a black box underwriting algorithm, performing end-to-end technology assessments, evaluating software for vendor selection, integrating and designing straight-through new business acquisition processing, and modernizing legacy policy administration systems.

Mitch is a Vice President of Research and Consulting at Novarica with international expertise in IT leadership and transformation, as well as technology strategy for life, annuities, health, personal lines, commercial lines, wealth management and banking. He has broad experience in underlying key technology disciplines including application development, infrastructure, architecture, process improvement, methodology including agile, quality assurance, business continuity and disaster recovery, outsourcing, performance and scalability. Prior to joining Novarica in 2014, Mitch held executive level CTO and CIO roles at AIG and AXA in Europe and the US for the last 20 years.

Peter is the Deputy Executive Director of the Building Service 32BJ Benefit Funds where he assists in the administration, operation and planning for the five multi-employer funds that deliver a broad range of benefits to more than 95,000 members and 180,000 covered lives with a combined asset portfolio of $4 billion. He was a key member of the management team that oversaw the selection of V3 for 32BJ and successfully managed its implementation.

Tariq Ali

Tariq is the Chief Technology Officer of the San Mateo County Employees’ Retirement System (SamCERA) where he directs the organization’s technology strategy with an eye towards innovation, simplicity, and efficiency. He oversaw SamCERA’s 2013 system replacement effort which culminated in the V3 implementation slated for a successful go-live in January 2017.

Akio Tagawa

Akio is a Principal at Linea Solutions, a management and IT consulting firm that specializes in the procurement of pension administration solutions and the project management of the associated implementations. Akio’s focus is in the strategic design of Linea’s client initiatives, and helps set up business process re-engineering and organizational change management programs in conjunction with the implementations. He has managed several procurements that have resulted in V3 being selected, as well as managed client teams to assist with the implementation of V3. He oversees Linea’s operations outside of Southern California and Linea’s team of directors.

Sushil is the President and CEO of the Joxel Group. He has over 25 years of management consulting experience working in the healthcare and pension industries, including the delivery of multiple EMR and pension system implementations, process re-engineering, change management, and analytic model creations to allow clients to gain insight in their businesses.

Will is a Senior Consultant with LRWL Inc. where he helps public retirement systems identify and solve operational inefficiencies through business process re-design and technology acquisitions and implementations. Gary and Jack are Principals at GTJZ Consulting, a small business that specializes in organizational, operational, and systems consulting for public pension and benefit organizations. They presently serve as project managers on a V3 implementation for one of New York City’s public retirement systems slated to go-live in 2017, after having previously assisted that client with requirements analysis and system selection/procurement.

Bill Bade

Bill is a consulting actuary with the Tampa office of Milliman. He joined the firm in 2015 after spending 10 years in the worksite benefits industry corporate setting. Prior to Milliman Bill served as VP of national account management at Allstate Benefits responsible for the management of national account premium administration, proposals, contracts, and new client implementation. Through his exposure to distribution and marketing, Bill developed a passion for anticipating market trends, distribution opportunities, and the interaction between market trends and product pricing. Bill’s product development, marketing, and valuation experience at Allstate Benefits included a broad range of individual and group voluntary products such as accident, cancer, critical illness, disability, hospital indemnity, term life, and universal life.

Jamie Vitiello

Jamie is the Executive Vice President of Vitech and is responsible for Business Development. Jamie has worked for Vitech for almost 25 years, providing vision and execution in expanding Vitech’s business deeper into its vertical markets and expanding to new and broader horizontal markets. Jamie oversees Vitech’s legal, sales and marketing teams.

Chris Lodge

Chris is the Senior Vice President of Professional Services at Vitech. Chris joined Vitech over 16 years ago and is now responsible for
the successful delivery of V3 active implementations across the Vitech practices. This includes oversight of the financial and operational aspects for V3 engagements, contractual obligations of V3 engagements, and overall staffing. In addition to implementation responsibilities, during his tenure at Vitech Chris has been a key contact on proposal-related activities, managed proposal development, provided demonstrations of our V3 solution, negotiated contracts, and transitioned/on-boarded new implementation teams. Chris’s responsibilities include managing financial and operational activities such as the timely delivery and invoicing of project milestones, resource forecasting, cost forecasting, percent complete analysis, and profit/loss management.

Hope Nawada

Hope Nawada is a Director at Vitech responsible for all professional services for investment implementations. Hope has more than 18 years of systems development and implementation experience, specializing in project management, business requirements management, client/server development, and client relationship management to ensure high client satisfaction. She has been involved in all such Vitech implementations in some capacity and adds assurance to the successful delivery for investment solutions. Hope also functions as an important relationship manager acting as liaison to senior client staff, executives and board members.

Anurag Yagnik

Anurag is Vitech’s Vice President of Technology where he leads the development and enhancement of the V3 product. During his 17 year tenure at Vitech, Anurag has been a key architect of the V3 product, pioneering web-enablement, service-oriented architecture, and the collaboration and orchestration of the technical solution that enables the powerful business functionality. Working under Anurag’s direction is a dedicated team who designs, develops, and certifies new product features and fixes for V3.

Alex Terruso

Alex is a Senior Solutions Analyst at Vitech with experience in designing, configuring and testing V3 payment solutions for Vitech’s insurance clients. Alex’s responsibilities include leading guided design sessions with the client team, configuring V3 to deliver the associated business processing, writing comprehensive functional specifications for related documents and reports. Alex is also an integral part of the product team steering design and development of product upgrades to V3.

Darren Spindel

Darren is a Senior Solutions Manager at Vitech and has over 19 years of project management and client service experience within the financial services and pension industry. His experience includes 12 years of retirement systems and actuary experience. Darren has successfully served as the Project Manager on numerous V3 upgrade implementations including the New Mexico ERB and Oklahoma EGID.

Aaron Taylor
Associate Director

Aaron is an Associate Director at Vitech overseeing the implementation of database solutions on Oracle RDMS versions 8i, 9i, 10g and 11g. Aaron is responsible for the installation, setup and ongoing maintenance and support of production and development databases, which has included administration tasks, performance tuning, backup and recovery solutions, as well as client training. In addition, Aaron has been responsible for development, systems implementation, data conversion, and release management for multiple V3 clients.

Matt Boehmcke

Matt is a Vitech Training Manager with 12 years of experience specializing in knowledge management, change management and training curriculum design and delivery. Matt frequently conducts on-site training for clients on large scale V3 implementations where he tailors each curriculum according to specific client requirements and provides all necessary training documents for end-users.

Andrew Rose

Andrew Rose is a Senior Solutions Analyst at Vitech with experience designing, implementing and supporting V3 System solutions for Vitech’s insurance clients. Andrew has been a key contributor to the success of several Go Lives and the roll out of MetLife’s Structured Settlements New Business. He has served in several key roles including Project Manager, Production Manager and Solution Lead.
