Introduction
There’s nothing as exhilarating as the start of an eagerly anticipated conference after months of planning, especially after the pandemic kept most live events dormant for more than two years. This year’s VitechCONNECT Annual Summit was a resounding success. Over 220 participants – our largest attendance to date – descended on the Mandarin Oriental in Washington, D.C. last week for three days of learning, networking, and of course a little fun. I heard from many attendees how gratifying it was to finally be together in person after endless months of Zoom calls. They were eager to hear from our industry leaders, customer panelists, and network with our partners. It seemed the return to a live event was a breath of fresh air for everyone. Here are some program highlights that made this year’s VitechCONNECT Annual Summit well worth the wait.
The Power of Customer Connection
Craig Weber, insurance practice leader at Cognizant, gave an interactive presentation titled, “Making A Deeper Customer Connection: Using New Tools to Raise the Bar,” which featured a real-time net promoter score survey for audience members on what drives emotional connections in the insurance industry. He also discussed how customer centricity is at the heart of successful corporate cultures and can be transmitted through digital experiences that create strong emotional connections.
V3locity: The Next Generation
In one of our most highly attended sessions, Vitech Chief Product Officer Ali Kheirolomoom and product team members showcased the latest innovations in our V3locity solution’s next-gen applications, featuring member event notifications, an Experience Designer app for enhanced digital engagement, and powerful usage analytics that capture real-time user activity.
The Data Definitive
Michael Reilly, insurance underwriting lead at Accenture, delivered a talk on “Data-Driven Business for Benefits Providers,” which examined how automation, advanced analytics, and reporting can result in more efficient and effective ways to extrapolate business insights.
Personalized Digital Experiences Redefined
Vitech’s Chief Technology Officer Anurag Yagnik led a discussion on “Designing Personalized Digital Experiences,” which featured V3locity’s latest innovations in its Workflow, Security, and Documents modules and how they augment existing enterprise features for tailored oversight, management, and usability.
Optimizing for Analytics
For dynamic and up-to-date business insights, companies need to make intelligent investments in analytics. Vitech Product Management team members Barry Redfern, director, and Scott Plummer, vice president, talked about best practices to ensure that analytics investments yield desired results.
Technology for All
Moderated by Todd Eyler, Vitech’s vice president of strategic marketing, experts from some of the leading advisory firms in the financial and insurance industries shared their thoughts on the importance of leveraging technology to reach multi-generational audiences. Panelists included John Keddy from Aite-Novarica, Karen Monks from Celent, Nick Rockwell from Eastbridge Consulting Group, and Akio Tagawa from Linea Solutions.
Final Thoughts
One informal measure of conference success is how eager attendees are to return to their businesses and implement the new strategies that they have acquired. Based on the many attendees who were so visibly engaged during the sessions and the interactions with speakers, partners, and Vitechers throughout the event, it was clear that we exceeded expectations for our return to VitechCONNECT. My personal rewards were the many smiles, nonstop networking, and numerous requests for dates and details for our 2023 event.
Many thanks to our clients, prospects, sponsors, and partners for joining us this year, and we can’t wait to see you at our 2023 VitechCONNECT Annual Summit!
