Major Group Benefits Organization Goes Live with V3

Vitech, a leading provider of group insurance and benefits software, announced today that the benefit plans of the UFCW & Employers Trust, LLC (UFCW Trust) have gone live with their new V3 system, running in Vitech’s V3 Cloud.

The new system supports a range of core and ancillary benefits across a large base of groups and participants. Delivered functionality includes enrollment & eligibility, billing & remittance, direct pay, core administration, claims processing & payments, tax reporting, and financial accounting.

The UFCW & Employers Trust, LLC, is responsible for administering seven Taft-Hartley health & welfare and pension benefit Funds.   The Funds represented by UFCW Trust are as follows:

  • UFCW & Employers Benefit Trust

  • UFCW Northern California and Drug Employers Health and Welfare Fund
  • UFCW – Northern California Employers Joint Pension Trust Fund
  • UFCW – Northern California Food Employers Joint Individual Account Trust Fund
  • UFCW Pharmacists, Clerks and Drug Employers Pension Plan
  • Retail Clerks Specialty Stores Pension Fund

The above listed Funds serve members in four different UFCW Locals.  The Union Locals contributing to the UFCW Trust are:
